TR3® Rake (Back)
The world's most versatile 3-point tractor drag. The TR3® Rake is the only 3-point tractor tool, in the world, that can loosen, level and rake the ground on a single pass without the use of hydraulic or PTO controls. With thousands of residential and commercial TR3® owners around the world, the TR3® has been proven to excel in nearly all dirt work applications. The exclusive "Auto Leveling Blade," levels the ground while the operator drives. No hydraulic adjustments needed; the TR3® does all the work. Due to the heavy weight and style of the fixed "Ripper Teeth," the TR3® easily breaks through hardpan material. The foam filled "Stabilizing Wheels" help to gauge the depth of loosening by offsetting the natural undulation of the tractor. The back hardened steel "Finishing Rake" leaves behind a beautiful signature finish. Add the "Profiler" options to add "Profile Blade Technology" to the TR3® Rake for horse arena! The TR3® is truly the ultimate 3-point tool. We like to say, "One Tool, Does It All."
"Tank Tough" Frame:The TR3® Rake is built tank tough to power through the most demanding of jobs. From horse arenas, gravel driveways & commercial contractor applications, the TR3® is battle tested and shows up for work everyday. For most of our customers it never leaves the back of their tractor! The back finish rake and wear plates on the leveling bar are three-quarter inch hardened steel for longer wear. The stabilizing/gauge wheels are foam filled and the hardened steel scarifier tips are replaceable.
Adjustable Scarifiers:Adjustable from 0mm - 177.8mm to enable the perfect loosening depth for a variety of equine discipline. Also enable the user to get to the bottom of most potholes. Fixed scarifiers, not spring loaded, make breaking up hard pan soil or gravel a breeze. Adjustable ground contact angle to achieve more or less aggressiveness.
Bolt On Scarifier Tips:The tips are easy to replace and the steel is hardened for longer wear. Although conditions & uses vary, 1 set of tips lasts many of our customers about a year! (Your results may vary.) Reduces maintenance costs and lessens down time.
Auto Leveling Drag Bar:No skill required to achieve a level grade. The patented auto leveling drag bar will float to catch high areas and drops that material into lower areas automatically. The blade may also be locked down to act like a box scraper for rough grading and spreading material. The TR3® Rake enables the operator to bring the arena back to level grade and keep it there with very little skill.
Foam Filled Stabilizing Wheel:Real Wheels! Includes replaceable Volkswagen hubs, axles, and bearings to lower operating costs and minimize down town. Prevents the TR3® Rake from undulating with the tractor, keeping the scarifying teeth from digging any deeper than they are set. Controls the depth of the loosening action. Creates consistent level travel to eliminate wash boarding. Eliminates gouging and stalling the tractor while pushing backwards by supporting the frame.
3/4" Hardened Steel Finish Rake:Pulverizes and breaks up clumps of material and leaves a beautiful signature finish behind. Made of 19.1mm hardened steel for long life and are replaceable in 0.31m sections. Enables the user to push backwards slicing through the ground like a knife to rip out vegetation or move material to fill washouts and other light land clearing jobs. May be pivoted to apply pressure to compact and seal any material.
3-Point Hitch Connection:Depending on the size of the unit; the TR3® is compatible with CAT 0, 1, 2. (See sizing recommendations in the specs tab.) Works well with most "Quick-Attached" systems.
"Profiler" System:For Horse Arenas Only - The "Profiler" works with the TR3® and slices parallel to the base material eliminating all ridging in a single pass; saving time and further protecting the longevity of the horse. The standard TR3 utilizes perpendicular scarifiers to power through all hard packed footing, however alone it may take multiple passes and varying drag patterns to eliminate ridging. The power of the TR3® combined with the finesse and accuracy of the "Profiler" option team up to set a new standard in professional arena footing management.
Hydraulic Top Link:This option is a must for operators that will use the TR3® for land reclamation and landscaping applications. This cylinder takes the place of the traditional turn knuckle and gives the operator the ability to change the position of the TR3® without getting off the tractor and manually making adjustments.
Rail/Edge Blade:The rail blade attaches by two bolts to the leveling blade. The shovel cuts into the built up material around the rail or wall of an arena, the lip of a driveway or infield lip and pulls the material into the leveling blade to be redistributed. This eliminates hours of back breaking work. Works great to push back grasses and weeds that begin to overgrow into gravel roads and ball diamonds.
Drag Mats:Extremely heavy duty commercial grade drag mats mount behind the TR3® add the perfect finishing touch to a ball diamond or any surface the operator needs to finesse. No rivets to pop out and ruin the entire mat; these ends are clinched steel for extreme durability. Also works great to press seed into soil, drag over pastures/lawns to help breakup manure and aeration cores, & finish off a driveway or trail.
Blade Teeth:The blade teeth are used mostly in the landscaping industry and mount below the leveling blade. They extend 2 inches below the grade. The teeth allow loose sand to flow through as 2" and larger rocks and debris collect in the blade.
Extra Long Scarifier Shanks:The standard 228.6mm scarifier shanks can be swapped out for 304.8mm shanks; this enables the operator to rip 228.6mm deep. This may be needed to prepare for some barrel racing events. Every discipline has varying requirements. Always know how deep the arena footing material is.

"I was so excited the day before my tool came. My husband said, 'Pat, nothing ever lives up to the sales pitch. I can tell you, this far exceeded the sales pitch. I couldn't be happier with my TR3 Rake. I was a bit afraid that the tool might be more than I can handle. At my age (72), I was a bit afraid of its weight. But it has been nothing but easy to adjust. I'll tell everyone I know that this is the tool they should have." - Pat
"I have a stone dust and sand mixture as riding material and the TR3 is absolutely amazing, it works perfectly and I wouldn't ever use a different drag." - Paul
"I have had no problems with my TR3. I really liked it when I bought it and now I know I made the right decision buying this product." - Mark
"We are completely happy with the TR3; it is a great addition to the farm. Both my husband and I can use it easily with no problems. We couldn't have purchased a better tool." - Nancy
"My TR3 is working just like you guys said it would. I use it every day. We have no rain down here and its extremely dry but even with the heat and lack of moisture it still works perfectly, I couldn't be happier." - Audrey
"The TR3 is wonderful, we love it. I use it every day and even if my arena doesn't need it I still drag just because it's amazing. We use it on so many other things around our farm that we didn't even know we could salvage. It is the best tool we have ever owned, we couldn't be happier." - Vicky
"I love the TR3 and the Profile Blade Technology. I have already made $300 just from doing my neighbors arenas. They love it just as much as I do and they are waiting to get one pretty soon. I have people ask me all the time where I got my TR3 and I haven't had one person complain about the arena after I finish dragging. My horses are sound and haven't paid one vet bill since. Right there is worth the amount of money I paid for the TR3." - Tom
"I am very happy with my TR3 Rake, and have used it in both my indoor and outdoor arenas. I have used it at various settings and I'm please with it's performance." - Kara
"The TR3 is a Great machine. I probably bought one of the first ones ever made back in 2001. Then I moved to a smaller place so I sold it. I just moved to a ranch and I regretted selling it. This November I just purchased a new TR3 and I couldn't be happier. ABI had great service and friendly employees. I will recommend this to all my friends and ABI can use me as a reference if anyone has doubts." - Don
"I love the TR3. It works perfect in my arena and it's the best tool out on the market. The TR3 keeps my soil soft and fluffy; it also keeps it aerated perfectly". - Nick
"The TR3 is great and I have zero complaints. The TR3 met my expectations and I recommend it to everyone." - Tim
"Wow! What a tool! We drug the indoor with the TR3 and it is amazing. We would drag the area before and it would compact again overnight without anyone even riding. Now we raked it 3 days ago and we've had a full 3 days of lessons and the footing is still fluffy! We are very happy! Thanks so much for taking the time with us to make sure we got the right tool for the job!" - Kim
"I love the TR3, it works for everything around my farm. The TR3 can be used for so much more than any other tool on the market. One of the reason I love the TR3 so much is because it is so easy to maneuver and adjust to the specific way I would like it. I use it on my gravel roads and arena and sometimes even my pastures. There just isn't a better tool for a farm!" - Susan
"I am very happy with my TR3, I use it for trails and paths in my woods. My neighbor also has a TR3 but she uses it for her indoor and outdoor arenas and it does a great job. My neighbors arena looks professionally done." - Richard

"I own a TR3 and it works so well my neighbors use it just as much as I do. I can hardly keep my son off it. He uses it for both the outdoor and indoor arenas. He also makes trails for riding through our woods. When I bought the TR3 I bought more than one tool." - Ricke
"The TR3 Rake works great. For its size you can't get any other tool that's as heavy duty as the TR3. I haven't had one problem with it. It's just an all around great tool." - Lisa

I think he just likes to play around with it to see what all he can do with it!!!!" - Cheryl

"We love our TR3 Rake, it does exactly what we need it to do." - Ron
"I finally got a chance to work with the unit on my gravel driveway- about 800' of potholes! I must say. Wow, what a perfect machine! For a unit with no moving parts (other than wheels) and what it can do it is simply an amazing machine! The combination of 3 basic functions into 1 simple design, is an absolute genius! I worked slow getting the feel of the unit and experimented with some of the settings. It didn't take long to get the hang of it but this thing works that great and I'm that impressed! My wife and daughter thought I had extra gravel brought in but I didn't. They too are very impressed. My daughter can't wait for me to work the riding arena- if it'll ever quit raining!" - Garith
"This TR3 is absolutely the right tool for the job. This three point hitch tool is much better than a drag behind for maneuvering, relocating, etc. making it a better choice than the other tools I had considered. I am very happy with this tool, it’s doing a great job. I don’t buy tools that only have one purpose and I know that I’ll be able to use this one for other projects and maintenance that I have in mind for our property. I’m very happy with the design and construction of the TR3. It’s easy to use, very rugged, and the materials and craftsmanship of construction are top notch." - Doran
"The TR3 Rake is the best arena drag that God has allowed to be put on planet earth. Anyone who wouldn’t buy one is crazy and is probably making God sad." - Michael
"I must say, I LOVE the TR3 Rake! It has definitely made chores a lot easier! My only regret was not purchasing it years ago!" - Valerie
"I am amazed! Without a doubt the TR3 is the most useful implement that I drag behind my tractor. Great and functional even a scarecrow could use it. I might show up in person to thank you?" - Ken
"The TR3 Drag arrived safely at noon today. We mounted it on our tractor and proceeded to work on our 20 x 60 meter Dressage ring. We set the teeth fairly deep since our spring tooth drag didn't have the "umpff" to loosen the compacted material! Then we rotated the drag to get the rake more active followed by raising the teeth and stopping the box scraper from going down so low. What a beautiful job it did and I am certainly a man who knows how to buy a gift for his wife! I almost had to pry her off the tractor! I couldn't believe how easily it brought the arena back into shape and LEVEL too! Thanks so much for your product!" - Ralph
